This beautiful courtesan graced the first annual SiWC Masque -- just a part of the amazing festivities of the conference this year.
The conference is history now, and I'd like to send my thanks out to all those who made it such a success -- our wonderful board members (one of whom is this luscious courtesan -- can you guess which?), our generous sponsors, our incredible volunteers, the talented and tenacious presenters...
and all the stalwart delegates who brought such energy and enthusiasm to every day of the conference.
Thank you all!
Over the next few days I'll be re-capping all the amazing events and talking about how we plan to step into the future with this website and blog. Watch this space for TONNES of pictures and info over the next days and weeks.
If you have a special memory you'd like to share from SiWC 2008 -- be sure to post it to the comments below.
And we'll see you next year(on October 23-25) in Surrey for SiWC 2009!

Why, oh why, haven't I
Why, oh why, haven't I attended sooner? I've known about this conference since it began, and always found an excuse to not try my wings. No more will I stay away. I am yours forever! (Just give me a little while to get my book on it's way before you rope me in, ok? I'll need some time to adjust to my new direction in life.)
Fantastic conference, a standing ovation to all involved.

History, sniff sniff...if only it could last
Beautiful and Lucious? kc, you embarass me!(and are WAY too kind!) Once again, SiWC has gone above and beyond my expectaions! kc you are truly amazing!! Your energy and enthusiasm are infectious and have brought a new height to this event! To all of the volunteers: While I sent you all a private thank you, you deserve a public one as well! This conference could not happen without your dedication and support. Many of the volunteers worked 12-15 hour days and took on tasks they were not asked to do, simply because they saw the need and so they stepped up. We are blessed with best! So thank you, one and all for everything you do for SiWC! Camille

Amazing stories!
I had a wonderful time sitting on the sidelines and watching all of your stories unfold. I look forward to following "the rest of the story" in the coming weeks. And yes, even I am blogging on Surrey. http://deleyna.blogspot.com/
