I tripped over this and thought I would share:
Funny metaphors used in high school essays
There's a couple quotes that have me curious, I wouldn't mind reading the works they came from. Creating a funny tangent is a comedic gift.
This writer has a Douglas Adams vibe:
The little boat gently drifted across the pond exactly the way a bowling ball wouldn’t.
And this writer must come from a big family (I hope):
The plan was simple, like my brother-in-law Phil. But unlike Phil, this plan just might work.
Have a funny metaphor or link to some writing humour? Please share (and leave a comment)!
