SiWC board member and trade show coordinator extraordinaire, Ingrid Roeske Good, asked me to post some information for you about this year's trade show. (Thanks for all the information, Ingrid!)
The 2010 SiWC Three Day Trade Show has been created to captivate the interest of writers, both new and experienced alike.
Expect to meet with editors, illustrators, and various associations that will benefit your writing careers. The Trade Show is an integral part of the conference, not to be missed.
As an added adventure, please visit our artisan tables. Purchase a locally-produced, high quality craft as a souvenir of this fabulous weekend.
The Trade Show hours are:
Friday:from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Saturday:from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Sunday:from 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Past participants have included editors’ and writers’ associations, publishers, authors, and those selling software for writers. This show is geared for the "writing world" and features products and information specifically for the attendants of the conference. This year, we are once again welcoming back independent authors. Watch for updates of 2010 Trade Show participants.
Tables measure 6' long and can be shared. They are covered in white, fitted tablecloths. The rate for a full table for the three days is $100.00 and half is $75.00 (Please note: A separate cheque for $50.00 is also required. This amount will be reimbursed if all 3 days are attended). The coordinator assigns specific locations.
