Hello, all!
We're finally emerging from the post-conference fog here at SiWC Central. Hard to believe SiWC is behind us for another year. We had a great time this year, and from all we've read, it appears you did, too.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. More than anything else, it is the PEOPLE who make SiWC special. The part of our conference of which we're consistently the most proud is the atmosphere. And you, my friends - attendees, presenters, staff, volunteers, trade show participants, book fair participants and everyone else - are what make that happen. Thank you for coming ready to learn, to share what you know, to connect and converse and share a drink in the bar or a meal in the ballroom. Thank you for being attentive and open to new ideas, for taking questions with good grace. Thank you for resisting the urge to foist your MS on an unsuspecting agent in a bathroom stall. Thank you for sharing your work, your passion, and your time with us. And thank you, too, for your words. We've been touched, made to laugh, choked up, and generally chuffed to read your thoughts about SiWC this year. I hope you've all had a chance to read some of the blog posts out there about this year's conference. If not, here are some of the links we're aware of, picked at random:

Great links!
Thanks so much for collecting all these -- so fun to read everyone's highlights! I just keep reacting with "yes, that was awesome!" and "I know, right?!" and "SiWC is amazing!". Seems we all think the conference rocked.... ;)

Awesome as always!
The conference was amazing. As it always is!
Thanks for the links. I've read some, but not all and this way I can extend the conference high a little longer.
And thanks for including the wordbitches in your linky love. :)

Thanks again for everything!

Great posts
Thanks for the posts, Julie. So glad you had a good conference. And congrats on your honourable mention, too! (And believe me, the contest committee cannot be bribed by husbands.) :)
Elena, that's exactly how I feel reading the posts!

Here's a blog post about a book review I did on presenter Susanna Kearsley. She is a great workshop presenter. I learned tons about the writing craft.
