Thank you

SiWC is over for another year. Here at SiWC Central, we're still deep in the midst of the post-conference information-overload hangover, not quite able to put together coherent sentences with any confidence. So with apologies for my own inability to think clearly, I simply want to say thank you.

Thank you to our presenters, for inspiring us and teaching us and talking with us, for being such great sports, for getting us and diving right in. We couldn't do it without you.

Thank you to our attendees, for coming and sharing your writing and your energy, for being excited and interested and open to new ideas, for embracing all SiWC has to offer and supporting our conference, and for honouring your own writing by giving yourself the time to come and focus on your craft.

Thank you to our volunteers, for all your hard work. Our conference runs on volunteer power, from the board to the person who checks your name tag at the door. We appreciate you for all you do.

Thank you to our very small staff. You do the work of several people, and it doesn't go unnoticed.

Next year, our 20th anniversary conference runs October 19-21, with master classes on the 18th. We hope you'll join us! We'll be back soon here on the blog, but in the meantime, thank you again!
