Jim C. Hines
Jim C. Hines is the author of nine fantasy novels, including the humorous Goblin Quest triology and a series of fairy tale retellings that reimagine Snow White, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty as a trio of action heroines. His latest book isCodex Born, about a Michigan librarian who occasionally pulls lasers and lightsabers out of books to fight sparkling vampires and other threats. He's also a Hugo award-winning blogger, and has written extensively about issues from the serious (sexism in the genre, sexual harassment and assault) to the silly (a Doctor Seuss-style poem about slush reading, or trying to pose like heroines from fantasy cover art). He lives in Michigan with his wife, two children, and an ever-changing number of pets.
