Rachel Letofsky is a graduate from both the Humber Creative Book Publishing Program and the University of Toronto, where she specialized in English literature. She began working for The Cooke Agency in 2010. Rachel works closely with the lead agents to develop projects, regularly liaises with editors and publishers and is building her own list of clients. She is looking for young adult and new adult fiction, literary fiction and non-fiction that reminds us about the joys and oddities of life. While at the Surrey International Writer’s Conference 2014 conference, she will be acting as eyes and ears for the whole agency – so if a project is not a good fit for her list, she will be happy to play match-maker on your behalf with another agent at TCA. Rachel is particularly committed to working with unpublished authors in a focused, collaborative and hands-on manner.
