Robert Dugoni is a New York Times bestselling author of the legal/political thrillers, The Jury Master, (Warner Books Feb. 2006) and Damage Control (Warner Books Feb 2007).  His expose, The Cyanide Canary, (Simon & Schuster 2004) - was a Washington Post 2004 Best Book of the Year Selection, and the Idaho Librarian's Association's Book of the Year. Robert is a two-time winner of the Pacific Northwest Writers Association Literary Award for fiction. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford University with a degree in journalism and worked as a reporter for the Los Angeles Times before obtaining his doctorate of jurisprudence from the University of California at Los Angeles School of Law. He has practiced as a civil litigator in San Francisco and Seattle for nineteen years. Robert is also an accomplished speaker and teacher. He has taught the craft of writing at seminars throughout the United States including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, Boston and Chicago. His seminars are noted for his extensive handouts with pertinent examples from his and other writers' work. His seminars focus on capturing and maintaining reader interest from the opening page.
