Tracey Baptiste is the New York Times bestselling author of twenty books for children as well as several short stories. She is best known for the creepy Caribbean series THE JUMBIES and MINECRAFT: THE CRASH. She writes fiction, nonfiction, picture books through young adult, and graphic novels. Her most recent works are the picture book MERMAID AND PIRATE, the graphic novel HISTORY COMICS: ROSA PARKS & CLAUDETTE COLVIN: CIVIL RIGHTS HEROES, and the short story “Kiss Me Goodbye” in the MAGIC HAS NO BORDERS anthology.
