Jason Brick has written, edited, or contributed to over 50 books, including the critically-acclaimed YA novel Wrestling Demons and 13 ghostwritten books. He has written more than 4,000 articles for companies and publications including Black Belt Magazine, American Express, and Healthline.com. He speaks internationally to writers about business, and to businesses about writing.
Jason came to the writing industry after 15 years of teaching martial arts. The business experience he gained while owning and managing karate schools is what gave him the ability to make it as a full-time writer. The discipline from his training is what allows him to write 3,000-6,000 words a day.
Always curious, Jason cannot help himself from geeking out about his favorite writing and marketing topics with anybody who will hold still long enough to listen. Please grab him in the hallway and ask any questions you like. Do not, under any circumstances, allow him to become bored or lonely.
When not writing or speaking about writing, Jason continues to practice martial arts, cooks, travels, and spoils his family. He lives in Oregon with his wife, sons, aunt, cats, and a sugar glider named Sitka.
