Trish Daly

Trish Daly is an editor at Little, Brown working with James Patterson, one of the most read and innovative authors publishing today. Prior to joining Little, Brown in 2016, Trish spent six years at the William Morrow imprint of HarperCollins, where she worked on a wide variety of books, from mystery/thriller to narrative nonfiction.

Some of the projects Trish has edited and acquired include Lou Berney’s Edgar Award-winning novel The Long and Faraway Gone; food journalist Megan Kimble’s Unprocessed: My City-Dwelling Year of Reclaiming Real Food; professional runner Becky Wade’s Run the World: My 3,500-Mile Journey Through Running Cultures Around the Globe; and the #1 New York Times bestseller Hidden Figures by Margot Lee Shetterly (adapted for an Oscar-nominated film).

She’s interested in crime fiction and thrillers, especially starring unexpected protagonists in rich settings; and narrative nonfiction, especially involving little-known history, science, or big ideas–more broadly, authors telling unique stories that move us, exploring little-known subjects, or contributing to a cultural conversation.
