Allison Moore recently joined Bloomsbury Children’s Books, where she edits a wide range of formats and genres and works with authors including E. D. Baker, Jennifer Castle, Paul Tobin, and Jennifer Brown. Previously, she spent nearly seven years at Little, Brown Books for Young Readers, where her titles included The Sweetest Sound by Sherri Winston, Dreamland Burning by Jennifer Latham, City Shapes by Diana Murray and illustrated by Bryan Collier, and Be Who You Are by Todd Parr, as well as the upcoming Ghost Boys by Jewell Parker Rhodes and Dad By My Side by debut artist Soosh. Allison originally hails from Fair Lawn, NJ, went to college at Boston University, and attended the Columbia Publishing Course. She loves picture books with original hooks and all-ages appeal and novels that provoke discussion and approach familiar themes from fresh and unexpected perspectives.
