Stephanie Winter is an associate agent with P.S. Literary Agency and has been with the agency in various roles since 2017. She holds a B.A. from the University of Toronto in English Literature and an M.A. in English: Issues in Modern Culture from University College London. She is looking for diverse, inclusive voices in a variety of spaces. Stephanie particularly appreciates strong characters who bend stereotypes, genders, and more.
Stephanie acquires across three primary pillars: adult non-fiction and fiction, and graphic novels for young readers. In non-fiction, she’s on the hunt for home, design, pop culture, cultural criticism, millennial business and finance, narrative non-fiction, how-to, and lifestyle projects. In fiction, Stephanie particularly enjoys commercial and upmarket projects (thriller/suspense, rom-coms, etc.) that offer millennial and/or queer-affirming perspectives. She is searching for the next contemporary YA graphic novel to knock her socks off, as well as the next MG horror, but she’s open to all graphic novels in YA and MG. Overall, Stephanie is looking for stories that will engage with and change the way we view the world around us.
