Agent
In-Person Conference
Stephanie Winter is an agent and curator of exceptional creative content. Earning a B.A. in English Literature with High Distinction from the University of Toronto and an M.A. in English: Issues in Modern Culture from University College London, UK, Stephanie was always a book nerd. Today, she helps books find their place in the world as a literary agent with P.S. Literary Agency.
As an agent, Stephanie acquires across three pillars: nonfiction, graphic novels & picture books for young readers, and select adult fiction in upmarket and thriller categories. She lovingly describes her list as geeky, young at heart, and queer affirming. Her titles include Danny Loves Pasta (DK, June 2023), Closely Knit (Andrews McMeel, Summer 2024) and The Embroidered Closet (Abrams, 2022).
Stephanie’s deep love and nostalgia for history, the stories written, explored, and expressed by women and queer folks, the space they take, and their unmatched power drive her. Jane Austen, Lucille Ball, and Andrea Gibson inspire and shape the lens she takes on as a creative in the publishing industry.
Stephanie’s goal? Working with other creatives who want to exist in a world better than before while curating an aesthetic of harmony and momentum.
