Once registration opens, a Register Now button will appear on our website registration page HERE. If you don't see the button at noon, refresh the page. If you're planning to attend, don't leave it too long to sign up. In past years, we've sold out full conference packages in just a few hours.

 

When you register, you'll receive an automated email with the details of your registration. PLEASE read this over in full so you'll have all the essential SiWC information. If you don't receive it within a couple of hours of registering, please check your spam folder. 

 

 

If you're a writer of any kind of fiction, memoir, poetry, or non-fiction who wants to grow in your writing career, SiWC has something for you. Whether you're a beginner who's just started to write or a seasoned pro, this year's conference is for YOU.

 

Check out our workshop and master class schedules on our website to see the wide variety of craft and writing business topics on offer this year. You'll find everything from a Beginner Intensive master class to deep dives into POV, character, setting and myriad other craft topics, publishing-related workshops for those pursuing both traditional and indie publication, and some niche topics to help you grow as both a writer and a reader. 

 

Along with all this professional development, SiWC offers in-person attendees pitch and blue pencil appointment opportunities, and, NEW THIS YEAR, virtual attendees will have the chance to register for half-hour, small-group virtual kaffeeklatsches (casual group chats about all things writing) with a presenter. 

 

For both virtual and in-person attendees, networking opportunities abound in our virtual bar, the hotel bar, and at banquet meals for full conference attendees.

 

For young writers, we're pleased to offer the bonus this year of a young-writer-specific master class INCLUDED with your conference registration. Young writers are of course welcome to sign up for additional master classes, too, and to choose to attend in person as a full or basic attendee instead of online as a young writer. You are WELCOME, however you choose to attend.

 

There's something for every writer at SiWC. We hope to see you there!

 

 

Our annual writing contest remains open to entries until September. If you've ever wondered what it's like to win the big prize, check out our administrative coordinator Kim's interview with last year's winner, CZ Tacks, on our blog HERE. And get those entries in!

 

 

All our scholarships are open for applications. We strongly encourage you not to self-reject if you are a young writer, and Indigenous writer, a Black writer, or a writer from any underrepresented group. Please apply! Details on the News and Community menu on our home page.

 

Looking forward to seeing many of you register next Wednesday. It's the most exciting day of the year for us here at SiWC Central apart from the conference itself, and we can't wait!
