New this year: single-day basic registration and an in-person young writers day.

We are pleased to offer no increases on any of our in-person conference packages this year.

SiWC is not for profit. Every penny of your registration goes toward running the conference.

This year we will be offering a hybrid conference, with both in-person and online components. Note: SiWC is a mask-positive environment. Masks are not mandatory at this time, but are welcome and encouraged in crowded public areas such as workshop rooms to help keep each other safe. SiWC will continue to monitor local health trends and will meet or exceed mandated protocols, and may expand measures to include required masking in workshops and other public areas. By registering for SiWC, you agree to abide by the health and safety measures in effect at the time of the event.

Please note that the full and basic in-person packages include the opportunity to book one pitch appointment at the time of registration for those who are interested. If you wish to book an appointment, register early for the best choice of appointment slots. Additional appointments may be booked at the conference at no extra charge subject to availability. At SiWC, we never charge for appointments.

Refund Policy

The Surrey International Writers’ Conference will provide refunds for full and basic packages, less a $50 processing fee, up to July 31 of the current conference year.

Refunds will be made for full and basic package minus $150 (to cover expenses already incurred) between August 1 and September 30 of the current conference year. Refunds for the virtual conference only are subject to a $50 fee during this period.

Refunds after September 30 for full and basic packages will be at 50% due to costs incurred unless we are able to fill your spot from our waiting list. Refunds on the virtual conference are subject to a $50 fee during this period.

Downgrades from full or basic to the virtual conference only will be possible for a $50 processing fee until September 30. After September 30 downgrades will be available if we are able to fill your in-person spot from our waiting list.
