Finnian Burnett is a writer whose work explores the intersections of the human body, mental health, and gender identity. They are a 2023 and 2026 Canada Council for the Arts grant recipient and a short-listed finalist in the CBC nonfiction contest.
Finnian’s work appears in Blank Spaces Magazine, Geist, Pulp Literature, CBC books, Writer’s Digest. Finn’s flash fiction collections include The Clothes Make the Man (AdHoc 2022), The Price of Cookies (Off Topic Publishing, 2024), and Redshirts Sometimes Survive (2026).
Finnian lives in British Columbia and enjoys cold weather walking, Star Trek, and cat memes.
