Our registration opening yesterday was unprecedented. Record-breaking, even. Thank you to all the writers out there who are as excited as we are about #SiWC17!
A few updates and reminders…
Our Friday Only passes are now sold-out. Our Youth passes are sold-out. The conference itself is more than 50% sold-out.
However, if you are or you know of a young writer who wants to come, applications are open for the Tan Seagull Scholarship. One lucky writer will be selected to attend for the whole weekend, and two others [at least] will be invited to attend for Young Writers Day on Friday, October 20th. We also offer a Diversity Scholarship for writers who identify as diverse, and are unable to attend for financial reasons.
We have an unprecedented number of Master Classes this year, which will be held the day before the conference proper opens. Apart from Jack Whyte’s Manuscript class [which sold out in a record FIVE minutes yesterday], there is room in these classes. Along with these, for beginning writers, we offer a Beginner Intensive on Thursday, as well.
We are creating a wait-list for sold-out passes. If you’d like your name added, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with ‘Wait List’ in the subject line.
Thank you again for showing the love to #SiWC17. We love you right back!
