It’s March and the world is a mess — no question — but spring IS coming. As creatives, our primary way of processing things is to write about it, so let’s do that, shall we?
The 28th Annual SiWC Writing Contest will open April 1, this year, as usual. Why not write out all your worries — or your hopes, or your nefarious heist plans — onto the page, and send it in to us? You’ll have a chance at a $1000 prize, not to mention the unbeatable cachet of calling yourself a Surrey contest winner for evermore?
Make sure to check out the new and improved entry instructions for this year. For the first time ever, we are taking entries electronically ONLY, but you no longer have to cut and paste your story into the body of the email.
All the details can be found here, but if you have any questions, you can find me, your humble contest coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We’ll send you a reminder in April, but there’s never been a better time to put our conference motto into play: This Day We Write!
